Business Matters

CDS by laws govern the SB CDS Chapter requiring annual elections in which the nominating committee publishes the slate and the membership votes in their Board of Directors each year.  Ballots are available electronically or via U.S. mail.  Contact the current chair for further information. 

The new board is responsible for appointing  its chair and vice chair for the upcoming year.

Our Board members serve for one year, however, a re-elected board member may serve for more than one term.

If you are interested in becoming a member of Santa Barbara CDS, please join the California Dressage Society (CDS) via this  Application Form. Request Santa Barbra CDS as your local Chapter.

Membership dues does not fund the local Chapter. SB CDS is an all-volunteer organization funded solely by the facilitation of the shows. 
 

Our meetings are conducted in accordance with Roberts Rules, a highly abbreviated version is herewith presented. 

Our Board meeting minutes are available to any member by request from our secretary. Your participation and comments, suggestions are always welcome.

WE encourage anyone interested to get involved! - To volunteer for Santa Barbara CDS you don't have to be a CDS member.  Go to 'Board Members' and contact the Chair or Show Chair for further information about how you can help.
